Q-AV System - Simply cleverer
A system which is truly outstanding and all enveloping home cinema and musical experience, but which doesn't intrude into the living space, and like other Q Acoustics models, be affordable. By use of NXT and bespoke BMR (balanced mode radiator) drive units, the Q-AV system achieves this and more.
How do BMR Drivers help?
BMR drivers have a number of advantages over conventional loudspeakers. Needless to say, like any very high quality loudspeakers, they produce excellent, dynamic, low distortion sound. However, BMR drivers produce this sound from much smaller cabinets than conventional speakers and also boast an 'Ultra Wide' sound field. This means listeners can enjoy full home cinema sound from these speakers, anywhere in the room and not just in the 'best seat' as with ordinary speakers.
Disappearing speakers - now that's clever!
Uniquely, the front left, centre and right channel speakers (LCR) fit any flat panel from 37" to 50".
The LCR speakers are fitted to a telescopic frame, which can also be attached to a universal pedestal or wall bracket. The frame extends or contracts until the LCR speaker perfectly matches the width of the panel. The frame also adjusts
forwards and backwards, until it again matches the panel. When all adjustments are made, the speaker ' disapperars' because it simply looks as if it is an original part of the TV - even the badge is magnetic for easy removal.
Rear Speakers
Their 'ultra wide' sound field allows the stylish BMR rear speakers to be positioned unobtrusively, close to the floor, or
up high near the ceiling. The design allows for the speakers to be easily fitted even if skirting board or covingi is present.
The speakers can also be used free standing with the supplied support.
The intelligent design of the rear speakers means that speaker cable can be routed along the skirting board or coving,
especially useful when it is not possible to run cables through walls.
Mounting Options
The LCR speaker can either be mounted direct to the supplied wall bracket or for ultimate flexibilty attached to the optional pedestal or cantilever bracket. Q-AV is the first LCR speaker that rotates with your screen to optimise home cinema
performance. This, along with the wide dispersion of the BMR speakers provides high quality sound wherever you are sitting.
Subwoofer - where is it?
The extremely powerful 120W Q-AV subwoofer is perfectly matched to the BMR surround speakers and delivers absolutely seamless music or movies.
But where is it? The living room friendly Q-AV subwoofer is available in black or white. Designed to be wall mounted or free standing, it looks more like a modern heater or radiator than a conventional subwoofer.
