In its latest set of designer satellite speakers
Pioneer has opted for natural elements as the key
design factors. The S-LF5-F system (2 front
speakers) and the S-LF5-CR system (1 centre and
2 rear speakers) incorporate 100 % real wood,
aluminium cabinet and grilles for a smart and
modern look. The natural materials used - aluminium, zinc and wood - are not only
attractive, but also provide strength to the cabinet to reproduce a
pure and accurate sound. Within a more traditional setting a cloth
grille cover will make for a softer touch. Two different colours of
cloth grilles (black and white) are included in the package. The
extra-flat design means that the system is ideal for wall placement. To
complement these two-way satellite speakers, the 160 W S-W160S active
subwoofer has a matching natural light wood tone.
