With high end audio parts and full Blu-ray HD audio format decoding, the BDP-LX53 is an ideal Blu ray player for anyone who values sound as much as image. Furthermore, it takes many other popular media formats and offers advanced network features.

Get razor sharp picture quality from your Blu ray discs thanks to Deep Colour and x.v.Colour support. When you play standard definition video such as DVD, the image will be upscaled to 1080p (HD).

For a listening experience to match, professional grade audio components have been integrated - ideal for decoding HD audio formats by Dolby and DTS. Multi-surround PQLS technology - supporting both bit-stream and PCM - >will eliminate jitter that might occur in the HDMI connection, and that would otherwise have a negative impact on audio quality.

 

Format support and network features

Support for other formats includes CD, DVD, AVCHD and USB storage devices (for MP3, and JPEG).

 

BD-Live and enjoying online content

Connect to the internet through Ethernet or Wireless LAN (optional adapter needed) and enjoy network features such as BD-Live content,YouTube video viewing and automatic software and firmware updates notifications.

You can also read selected Pioneer RSS feeds. With the iControlAV application, you can even turn your iPhone/iPod into a remote control for your player.
